Ex-CNN Producer Sentenced

Fox News reported that Griffin, 45, was sentenced to just over 19 years in prison and 15 years of supervised released after that during a hearing at a U.S. District Court in Vermont. Griffin, who lived in Stamford, Connecticut, was previously accused of trying to convince parents to let their minor daughters as young as seven years old to engage in sexual activity with him at the ski home he owned in Vermont.

After his arrest in 2021, Griffin was charged “with three counts of using a facility of interstate commerce to attempt to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.” Two of these charges were later later dropped under the terms of his plea agreement.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Vermont released a statement following Griffin’s arrest saying that he “sought to persuade parents to allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive.”

“Griffin later transferred over $3,000 to the mother for plane tickets so the mother and her 9-year-old daughter could fly from Nevada to Boston’s Logan airport,” the statement continued. “The mother and child flew to Boston in July of 2020, where Griffin picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his Ludlow house. At the house, the daughter was directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity.”

Griffin’s Disturbing Text Messages

In disturbing text messages that were included in his indictment, Griffin said that he believes that there is a “wanton whore” at “the core of any” female and that “a woman is a woman regardless of her age.”

“One of the big lies of this society is that women are delicate innocent angels and they are in actuality, naturally, the dirtiest sluts possible, in EVERY metric,” he allegedly wrote.

The former CNN producer reportedly told one mother that he had “sexually trained girls as young as 7 years old,” adding that her 14-year-old daughter “would be a good candidate for such training.”

Griffin went on to tell the mother that he wanted to have a video chat in which he “planned to instruct the 14-year-old and her mother to remove their clothing and touch each other” and then said that meetings in person would include “spanking” and “c–k worship.”

Prosecutor And Victim Speak Out

Prosecutor Michael Drescher told the court that “short of ending a person’s life, it’s hard to imagine a worse offense [than what he did].”

“Mr. Griffin knows what to say and when to say it,” he continued, describing Griffin as a master manipulator, according to The New York Post.

One of Griffin’s minor victims appeared in court via video link to address him directly.

“I’ll never trust anyone again,” the girl said. “You make me sad and angry.”

The girl’s grandmother spoke as well, saying that the child was “forever ruined” by what Griffin did.
