Buckle In—The Biker Boot Is Suddenly Back Like It’s 2010

Is it 2013 or 2023? I don’t care either way. The only important thing is that biker boots are back in style and I’m itching to get my hands on the It item that completed every grunge-inspired look I’ve loved since the early ’10s.

No other boot style comes close to the biker boots ability to inject nonchalance-cool into an outfit. Though the biker boot went away for a while, we’re thrilled to be it back, looking chic paired with a juxtaposing fit-and-flare dress, or right at home with black bottoms and oversized knits.

Throughout the 2010s, out favourite fashion icons including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss, were avid fans of the chunky style which sadly, until recently, had been collecting dust at the back of our wardrobes. That was until Miu Miu got involved. When Miu Miu debuted their fabulous stompers during their AW21 runway show we knew we were looking at something that would catch on. Two years later and the fashion set have warmed up yet again to the classic biker boots into their shoe collection, frequently styling them across all four seasons.

Bringing the look right back to 2023, the fashion crowd is styling the boot with fresh layers in light, natural materials, rather than going all-in on grunge à la the early ’10s or with skinny jeans tucked in like Moss or Miller. From Miu Miu’s iconic pair, to H&M’s convincingly premium iteration, shop our favourite biker boots below.
