Samsung’s original Galaxy Buds were not only the brand’s first foray into truly wireless earbuds, they were also its answer to Apple’s highly popular AirPods. Now that they’ve been on the market for a little over a year, they’ve done well to give Samsung and other non-iOS users a worthy alternative — and even spawned additional iterations called Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Live.
For Amazon Prime Day 2020, Samsung discounted its Galaxy Buds down from $129.99 to just $89.99 (in the color black), but only on October 14. If you’ve been on the fence about buying a pair, or are in the market for an AirPod replacement, now’s the perfect time to pick them up.
The Galaxy Buds combine premium tuned sound from the Harman-affiliated brand, AKG, Ambient Aware mode which lets in outside noise at a quick press of a button, and three adjustable ear tips so you’re able to find the right fit. They’re also splash- and water-resistant to protect against sweat or rain, and a dual microphone delivers clear sound for phone calls.
