John Mulaney's laugh-filled 'SNL' monologue is a balm on our election anxiety

The best Saturday Night Live monologues are the ones delivered by actual stand-up comics, for reasons that should be obvious. 

Host John Mulaney brought a tight, hilarious 10-minute set to his latest SNL gig. He touched on everything from New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s pandemic press briefings (Mulaney’s favorite quarantine TV series) to the imminent 2020 election (“an elderly man contest”) to his own, completely rad grandmother.
