Deck13 had promised new content and enhancements for its action RPG Atlas Fallen, and the German studio has now shared more details. The free Reign of Sand update is slated to launch on August 6, adding new voice acting by the talented Ben Starr (who played the protagonist in Final Fantasy XVI), a new area, new enemies, 25 new Essence Stones, new progression mechanics, quality of life improvements (chiefly to the camera, but also balancing and onboarding), the much-requested New Game Plus mode and a new difficulty mode called Nyaal’s Nightmare.
