Samsung has started working on the Galaxy A56 months ago, presumably, but it’s only now that we get our first proof of the matter via a listing in an IMEI database. The Galaxy A56 appears with its model number SM-A566B/DS. For reference, an A55 variation had the model number SM-A556B/DS, so things are clear here.
Interestingly, Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, which should be at the helm of the Galaxy A56 when it launches, will bring a significant performance boost compared to its predecessor.
