The Palisades wildfire actively burning in the Los Angeles area reached California’s Brentwood neighborhood, where Kamala Harris owns a home, on Saturday.
The Palisades Fire, which broke out on Tuesday, is the largest fire across Los Angeles County and has already wiped out more than 22,000 acres in Pacific Palisades and Malibu. It has become the most devastating wildfire in Los Angeles history.
Combined, the fires have reportedly destroyed over 37,000 acres and at least 12,000 structures.
At least eleven have died, but officials still do not know the actual number. According to Fox 11, at least 13 individuals have been reported missing.

Earlier this week, Harris’s press secretary, Ernie Apreza, said in an X post that Harris’ neighborhood was placed under an evacuation order, and nobody was at the home at the time.
“Last night, the Vice President’s neighborhood in Los Angeles was put under an evacuation order. No one was in her home at the time. She and the Second Gentleman are praying for the safety of their fellow Californians, the heroic first responders, and Secret Service personnel,” he said.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Saturday, new evacuations were underway Friday night as the wildfires in Los Angeles spread further toward Downtown Los Angeles.
Ari, a Los Angeles local, told The Gateway Pundit he expects the fire to “rip through Bel Air” if it makes it over the 405 freeway corridor. The blaze made its way east from the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood and “ironically, toward Kamala Harris’ Brentwood house” on Friday night, said Ari.
Ironically, this comes after Joe Biden made a sick joke, telling Harris, “Fire away! No pun intended!” during a briefing on the fires Thursday.
NBA player Lebron James, actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and other celebrities also live in the area.
“I pray this nightmare ends soon! So many prayers,” Lebron posted on Saturday night.
