Samsung is almost ready to take on Huawei’s tri-fold Mate XT. We’ve already heard that the Korean company is working on such a device, which will unfold in a different way, thus protecting the flexible screen when it’s folded.
The device is said to be limited to around 200,000 units, and today a new report from Korea tells us when to expect it to launch. It will apparently arrive in the third quarter of the year, so at some point between July and September.
This timeline lines up perfectly with Samsung’s yearly foldable device launch, so the tri-fold device could be introduced…
