Democrats were warned that they could face censure if they acted out during Trump’s speech yesterday. Rep. Al Green of Texas just couldn’t help himself and acted like a total jackass. Now he is facing censure.

The House voted on this and of course, the vote went pretty much along party lines, but Republicans still have the majority.

Green is getting off lightly for his behavior.

House Advances Censure of Democrat Rep. Al Green Over Unruly Behavior at Trump’s Speech

The House of Representatives moved to advance the censure of Rep. Al Green (D-TX), after his unruly behavior during President Donald Trump’s address before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.

In a 211-209 vote, the House voted to move forward with the censuring of Green after the House Sergeant at Arms escorted him out over his refusal to follow decorum during Trump’s speech.

As Breitbart News’s Bradley Jaye previously reported, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) interrupted Trump’s speech as Democrats began exhibiting unruly behavior and warned them that they needed to “observe House decorum.”

“Mr. President, members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions,” Johnson said. “That’s your warning.”

CNN has reported that an overwhelming majority of people who watched the speech thought Green’s behavior was inappropriate.

Democrats did themselves no favors last night. They made themselves look like bratty children throwing a tantrum at the grocery store.
