Instant Pot’s multicookers have a fervent following; for the uninitiated, Amazon Prime Day 2021 might be a good time to hop on the bandwagon, with several deals to take advantage of. While we don’t know all of the deals just yet, we’ve typically seen more than 50% off popular Instant Pot models across multiple retailers during past Amazon Prime Days.
You’ll also find great savings on electric pressure cookers and multicookers that aren’t specifically Instant Pot brand during the event. These models can sometimes be even better than Instant Pot – our top-rated model from our guide to the best electric pressure cookers is actually the Crock-Pot Express Crock XL Multicooker (8-quart).
That said, we still really love Instant Pot, which took home the “best budget” and “best multitasking” picks in our guide. What Instant Pot deals to expect during Prime Day
We currently don’t have the deal information to provide, though the Ultra 3 model – originally $119 – was on sale at an all-time low of $50 last year. Most other models are on sale for 50%, too. What Instant Pot model should I buy?
Our favorite “Instant Pot” from our guide to the best electric pressure cookers isn’t actually an Instant Pot at all. We love the Crock-Pot Express Crock XL Multicooker (8-quart) for its even cooking, easy to use interface, and roomy interior. That said, it’s on the pricier side.
One of the benefits of Instant Pot branded multicookers is that they have so many additional functions. If you’re primarily interested in slow cooking and pressure cooking (the base Instant Pot tasks), the Instant Pot DUO 60 7-in-1 (6-qt) is our best budget pick and usually retails for around $89.
What size Instant Pot should I buy?
We think most people will get the best use out of an 8 quart model, though the 6 quart size could be useful if you’re only cooking for one or two people. While larger Instant Pots are available, we don’t think most people will find the extra space of a 10 quart model necessary.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is the company’s annual event offering millions of deals across kitchen gadgets, fashion, tech, and more. Prices are some of the lowest we see, even surpassing deals and discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
When is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon announced that Prime Day will run from June 21 to June 22, with deals kicking off at midnight PDT. Some deals are available on both days, others take place only on one.
