Station takes tumble in radio ratings war

The GOLD FM host tied last radio ratings with Nova’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny, but edged clear on Tuesday on 8.6 to Nova’s 6.9.FOX FM’s Fifi, Fev and Nick were just behind on 6.8 while smoothfm’s Jennifer Hansen and Mike Perso climbed 1.1 to come in at 6.3, just ahead of KIIS FM’s Jase and PJ.Triple M’s Marty Sheargold came in at 4.6 with a drop of 1.2.On the AM dial, 3AW’s Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft held firm as the clear leaders on 20.1 with ABC’s Sammy J jumping to 13.8.Neil Mitchell in the morning rose more with a big share of 18.9, with Tom Elliott ahead in drive on 12.7.Sports station SEN dropped marginally in breakfast and mornings with Gerard Whateley fell from 3.3 to 2.8.GOLD FM surged ahead in mornings, afternoons and drive.In drive Nova’s Kate, Tim and Joel (8.4) was behind GOLD’s Gavin Miller (10.8), while FOX FM’s Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little recorded 7.9.Triple M’s Mick Molloy gained some listeners with 5.2.
