FCC votes unanimously to pay $1.9 billion to rip out and replace Huawei and ZTE networking gear

The FCC has unanimously voted to hand out up to $1.9 billion from the Universal Services Fund to help subsidized telecom companies rip to and replace Huawei and ZTE networking equipment.
