Save $54: Target is offering two Echo Dots (4th gen) for $45.98 total as of July 29. That’s over half off, and it brings each Dot below Amazon’s Prime Day price.
Months before Black Friday, a sneaky deal from Target offers the best price we’ve seen on the newest Echo Dot.
Adding two fourth-gen Echo Dots to your cart triggers a discount of over 50%, bringing your total for both smart speakers down to $45.98. That’s about $4 less than the regular price of a single Echo Dot ($49.99), and $2 cheaper per Dot than Amazon’s no-longer-active Prime Day price ($24.99).
The double whammy also obliterates Amazon’s current deal on a two-pack of Echo Dots, which saves you a measly $10.
The new spherical take on the Dot is a refreshing, geometric upgrade over the hockey puck look we’ve seen for the past few years. The plump design makes room for speakers with (slightly) crisper sound. Other new features include “tap to snooze.”
But the most appealing feature of the Dot is the sheer convenience it provides. After a quick plug-in and WiFi setup, Alexa is ready to tell you about today’s weather and traffic, offer a news debrief, or answer questions that you’d otherwise have to Google, like “What Olympic events are on tonight?”
Having two Dots in separate rooms of the house means that you can use the speakers like intercoms. Of course, homes with smart lights or robot vacuums can use Alexa commands as well.
