The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star praised West for teaching her how to stay “true to herself” during their six-year marriage.In a revealing new interview, Kardashian, 40, said the Donda rapper helped her “live in the moment” and not care about other people’s opinions.“I got to a point, and maybe being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade – and someone that absolutely didn’t care about likability factor or what any of perception of him was, as long as he was true to himself – that taught me so much in the best way, of just being me and living in the moment,” Kardashian told Kristen Bell podcast, We Are Supported By.“You don’t have to please everyone as long as I’m myself, and as long as I’m doing it the way that I want to. “Like, you have one life, and you’re living it for you. “That taught me to just be more confident in myself and truly not care as much of what other people thought.”Kardashian also discussed her parenting style to children North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago – who she shares with West.“When my kids want something, typically candy, they give me this look directly in my eyes that cuts right through me,” she told the podcast, per the Daily Mail.“I usually give in and give them what they want. I’m naturally very calm, which I think translates into my parenting.“I don’t get super stressed or impatient, which I think is definitely a superpower when you have three kids ages five and under running around.” The mega beauty mogul said she encouraged her children to be close, as she grew up with her siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian, and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.“They get along so well and have so much love for each other.“It reminds me of growing up with Kourtney, Khloé and Rob. There’s something so special about having a big family, and I’m happy my babies get that experience the way I did.“It’s so amazing to watch my kids grow and develop into their own people. “I get the kids outside as much as possible, and I’m good at creating activities for them. They’re always playing sports or working on projects.”Meantime, West made a return to the spotlight holding full-scale live events for his upcoming album, Donda, as its release date was delayed.
