How to donate Citi points to charity

Citi Premier® Card

If you collect Citi ThankYou points from cards like Citi Premier® Card, Citi Custom Cash℠ Card, or Citi Rewards+® Card, you should have access to Citi ThankYou’s online portal. This is the same portal you’d use to book travel or redeem your rewards in other ways, like for cash back or gift cards.

Citi ThankYou already partners with over half a dozen charities, in addition to Susan G. Komen. You can redeem your Citi points at a rate of 1 cent each for donations to these organizations:

  • American Red Cross Disaster Relief
  • American Red Cross International Services
  • No Kid Hungry
  • Smile Train
  • UNICEF – Kid Power
  • UNICEF – USA
  • World Central Kitchen

Donations must be in increments of $25 (2,500 points), $50 (5,000 points), or $100 (1,000 points). Using your Citi ThankYou points for charitable donations is easy to do – just log into your Citi ThankYou account and click on the “Charitable Contributions” option under the “More Ways to Redeem” menu.
