Angus Milne from Longreach in Queensland failed to get any chair turns from the coaches with his rendition of Ed Sheeran’s Castle On The Hill in last night’s episode. After his Blind Audition, he stuck around for a customary chat with the coaches who spoke to Angus about his singing history and also met his partner who was watching on from the side of the stage.During the chat Angus’ partner yelled out, “play an original, Angus”, which piqued the coaches’ interest.“I just heard your wife say, ‘Play an original,’” Jessica Mauboy said. “Can you play an original?”Angus happily obliged and introduced the tune by telling the coaches: “This is a song I actually wrote about a dream I had. I was a tiger, looking for my girlfriend in the jungle.”But it’s safe to say the coaches were not expecting Angus’ original to be quite so rude. Some of the lyrics were:If it’s a jungle and I’m a tiger, looking for p**sy, I need to find herIf I wasn’t after p**sy I’d be taking home a monkey tonightRELATED: Guy Sebastian clarifies comments about The Voice auditionsMauboy and fellow coach Keith Urban covered their faces with their hands in shock after hearing the lyrics, with Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian giggling in embarrassment. Some viewers then took to social media to express their surprise that the suggestive lyrics were allowed to go to air during the family show. After his cheeky performance, Angus joked that his partner didn’t want him to sing that song when she encouraged him to sing an original. After last night’s Blind Auditions, each of the four coaches whittled their teams down to just five members each. They’ll perform in The Finals on Sunday night on Channel 7.
