Apple TV Plus has a stacked lineup ready for Fall 2021, building off the successful second season of “Ted Lasso,” which premiered on July 23. The service will celebrate its third anniversary this fall and welcomes a mix of new and returning content to its slate, from the second season of “The Morning Show” to feature-length films starring Academy Award winners Tom Hanks and Mahershala Ali.

Apple showed off a sizzle reel of its upcoming original programs during its iPhone 13 launch event on September 14. Apple TV Plus will offer more than 75 exclusive movies and shows by the end of 2021, and The Information reports that Apple plans to spend as much as $500 million marketing its original content this year.

Below, we’ve compiled a list of the movies and shows premiering on Apple TV Plus through the end of 2021. That includes shows returning for subsequent seasons, like “The Morning Show” and “Dickinson.”

‘The Morning Show’ – September 17

The Morning Show” debuted as one of Apple TV Plus’ top dramas, with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon starring as co-hosts of a fictional television news show. The two women work to defend their jobs and navigate a hostile industry. Billy Crudup returns in a supporting role that won him an Emmy in 2020, along with Steve Carell. The second season premiered on September 17, and you can stream new episodes every Friday.

‘Foundation’ – September 24

“Foundation” is an adaptation of science fiction author Isaac Asimov’s influential book series about a galactic empire in decline. The story spans more than 1,000 years and explores the human factors that lead to the rise and fall of civilizations. David S. Goyer, writer of “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” serves as executive producer and showrunner. The first two episodes will debut on September 24.

‘The Problem with Jon Stewart’ – September 30

Jon Stewart earned his fame as the host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central for more than 15 years. His new Apple TV Plus show will see him taking on a different subject in current events during each hour-long episode, which include segments filmed in front of a live audience. The show premieres September 30 and will be accompanied by a podcast.

‘The Velvet Underground’ – October 15

Academy Award nominee Todd Haynes directs this feature-length film about the New York City rock band that influenced a generation of artists. Though The Velvet Underground was not as commercially successful as other bands during the late 1960s, their unique sound remains culturally significant decades later. The documentary will be available on Apple TV Plus on October 15.

‘Invasion’ – October 22

“Invasion” tells the story of aliens coming to Earth from the perspectives of different people around the world. The 10-episode series was co-created by X-Men movie franchise producer Simon Kinberg and David Weil, who previously collaborated on the 2019 reboot of “The Twilight Zone.”

“Swagger” is a basketball drama inspired by the early years of NBA superstar Kevin Durant. It’s written, directed, and produced by Reggie Rock Bythewood, producer of the Fox miniseries “Shots Fired.” The series will premiere October 29.

‘Finch’ – November 5

Tom Hanks stars in this post-apocalyptic drama that was originally intended for a theatrical release before the COVID-19 pandemic. Hanks plays the last man alive on Earth, joined by a robot of his creation. The film will be available on Apple TV Plus starting November 5. Apple also purchased the rights to the Hanks-led “Greyhound” in 2020, which received critical acclaim despite its streaming-only release.

‘Dickinson’ – November 5

“Dickinson” was one of the first original shows on Apple TV Plus and it will come to a close with its third season starting November 5. Hailee Steinfeld stars as young poet Emily Dickinson in this coming of age series set in the mid-19th century. The first season earned a Peabody Award for entertainment in 2019, the first received by an Apple TV show.

‘The Shrink Next Door’ – November 12

Based on the podcast of the same name, “The Shrink Next Door” is a dark comedy series starring Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd. Rudd plays Dr. Isaac Herschkopf, a real-life psychiatrist accused of exploiting his patient’s lives for personal gain, like Marty Markowitz, played by Will Ferrell. The eight-episode series will premiere on November 12. The 10-episode podcast is available in full from Wondery.

‘Swan Song’ – December 17

In “Swan Song,” a father with a terminal illness is given the opportunity to replace himself with a healthy but otherwise identical clone. Star Mahershala Ali also serves as a producer, with a cast that includes Naomie Harris, Glenn Close and Awkwafina. “Swan Song” will premiere in theaters and on Apple TV Plus on December 17.
