The third celebrity season of the hit Channel 7 show, which sees contestants subjected to intense physical endurance, sleep deprivation, interrogation and psychological testing, started filming in New South Wales on Saturday. (October 1, 2021).Carey and Hall join fellow recruits Anna Heinrich, Darius Boyd, Ebanie Bridges, Geoff Huegill, Melissa Wu, Millie Boyle, Paul Fenech, Ellie Green, Riana Crehan, Richard Buttrose and Simone Holtznagel on the show.Also taking on the military-style bootcamp challenge are former Home And Away actor Orpheus Pledger, who recently appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court facing two charges of drug possession after he was allegedly found with half a gram of methylamphetamine in Prahran in February this year, former Real Housewife of Sydney star Melissa Tkautz, former Bachelor Locky Gilbert and professional boxer Michael Zerafa.The season will air on 7 in 2022.It is certainly not a show for the faint hearted. The current season, which is airing at present and features Sam Burgess and Jana Pittman, saw contestants tear gassed and made to swing on a ladder underneath a hovering helicopter in episode one.Meanwhile, the special event series SAS: Australia: Hell Week will launch on 7 later this month.It features everyday Australians going to hell and back in the hope of passing SAS selection.
