The girlfriend of Hollywood superstar Liam Hemsworth says she will go back to university after quitting her studies in ancient history and archaeology to pursue her modelling career.“Things are going great (modelling) but I also do want to use my mind in that way,” Brooks told The Daily Telegraph. “It is something that really does excite me. I love to learn so I think it will be more for me than to please my family or anything like that.”Byron Bay-based Brooks, 25, is considering studying literature but concedes she often changes her mind.“Last year I was thinking about doing law,” she said. “Let’s see what happens.”As for modelling, Brooks’ profile has risen exponentially over the past 18 months. She shot for Alice McCall last year and is now the new face of Seafolly swimwear, following in the footsteps of big names like Miranda Kerr and Gigi Hadid who have fronted the Aussie brand before her.“This year particularly has been exactly that, like a pinch me moment,” she said. “I shot with Vogue Australia earlier in the year, which was surreal, I couldn’t believe it was happening. And to get Seafolly for me was massive because I’d always looked up to the Seafolly models. Growing up they were the pinnacle of the Australian supermodel, like Miranda Kerr and Jess Hart, I would literally cut out their campaign shoots and stick them on my school books. It has always been a dream so to be in that line-up with those girls.”Brooks said she squealed when she found out she landed the campaign and is looking forward to seeing herself on a billboard.“It is a pretty big moment for me,” she said. “I think I will go and find a billboard and stand in front of it.”With her star rising, Brooks is also keen to try her luck in the Big Apple.“I want to really kind of push my limits and reach my potential and just see what I can really do,” she said. “I am a hard worker and I really want to continue to work hard. I will follow where my career takes me. I think the next step seems to be New York.”NAT – Stay Informed – Social Media
