Caps on the number of visitors in a home have now been lifted, indoor pools are open for all purposes and density limits have been reduced to one person per two square metres.Nightclubs can now reopen dancefloors and the 20 person cap on hospitality bookings has been removed. All other caps on settings other than gym and dance classes have been replaced by density limits while a 100 per cent fixed seated capacity has been installed for major recreation outdoor facilities like stadiums, cinemas and theatres.NAT – Stay Informed – Social MediaRules on outdoor gatherings with fewer than 1000 people have also been lifted and mask-wearing remains mandatory in indoor settings until the state reaches the 95 per cent double dose vaccination target.Currently, 89.8 per cent of the state population aged over 16 is fully vaccinated. On Monday, 187 new Covid cases were reported and seven more people died from the virus.The changes came into effect overnight and apply to fully vaccinated residents only. Unvaccinated people in NSW must abide by pre-road map restrictions until December 15.It comes after regional NSW last week reopened to visitors from Greater Sydney for the first time in four months. Premier Dominic Perrottet said bringing forward the easing of restrictions was only possible because of the state’s high vaccinations rate.“Everybody has done an incredible job to ensure NSW can ease restrictions in a safe and considered way earlier than we planned,” Mr Perrottet said.“We are on track to reach 90 per cent double vaccination weeks ahead of schedule and this is a testament to everybody across NSW and especially our health workers.”NAT – Stay Informed – Social Media
