Made by the same studio that brought us “Despicable Me” and “Minions,” the family film features a star-studded cast, catchy soundtrack, and the same characters fans have grown to love from the first movie.
Following the events of “Sing,” our furry characters are back to perform their biggest show ever — but they’ll need to convince a retired and reclusive rock star, voiced by U2’s Bono, to join them. Returning for the sequel, the movie stars Matthew McConaughey as Buster the koala, Reese Witherspoon as Rosita the pig, Scarlett Johansson as Ash the porcupine, Taron Egerton as Johnny the gorilla, Tori Kelly as Meena the elephant, and Nick Kroll as Gunter the pig.
“Sing 2” received solid reviews from critics and currently has a “70% Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregation website. The first movie got a similar reaction, and holds a “71% Fresh” rating.
