BBC and HBO Max’s The Girl Before has premiered locally on Binge*, with some viewers dubbing it better than the wildly popular Netflix psychological thriller, You.Starring British actors David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessica Plummer, the series is adapted from the best-selling novel by J.P. Delaney. It follows a woman named Jane (Mbatha-Raw) who wins the opportunity to move into a minimalist London house designed by famed architect Edward Monkford (Oyelowo).Jane soon makes a morbid discovery about the luxury home’s predecessor, Emma (Plummer), who she notices looks eerily similar to herself.
