The shock jock, who’s fiancee Tegan Kynaston is due to give birth in August, announced during the Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning that he is planning on naming the baby Otto.The surprise reveal came about after co-host Jackie “O” Henderson said she was hoping her 11-year-old daughter Catalina, nicknamed Kitty, would follow in her footsteps and work in radio.“I was thinking, because Kyle’s having a boy, in 20 years’ time, like, it’s the ‘Kitty and whatever-you’re-going-to-call-your-kid Show’,” she said.But Sandilands was happy to fill in the blank.“Otto. That’s what we’re going to call him,” he told her, before adding that the decision hadn’t “gone down too well” with members of their families.“Even Tegan’s mum goes, ‘Oh, there’s no need to rush into a name,’” Sandilands said.“And my Aunty Jill went, ‘What sort of stupid name is that?’”The expectant parents found out the gender of their baby during a lavish cruise on Sydney Harbour last month as two planes streaked coloured smoke overhead.Sandilands and Kynaston embraced and shared a kiss after the colour blue fell from the sky, confirming the baby is a boy.Sandilands, 50, who has a business empire worth $100 million, announced in February during The Kyle and Jackie O Show the pair were expecting a baby.He brought his fiancee on to reveal the big news. She was three months’ pregnant at the time.The host said he wanted “either a girl … or a little gay son”.Sandilands proposed to Kynaston in typical exuberant style during a Queensland holiday in mid-January.Kynaston, 35, had previously been Sandilands’ personal assistant before the couple started dating in 2019.They got together after Sandilands broke off an eight-year-long relationship with Imogen Anthony.
