Xiaomi’s Redmi brand announced a third phone alongside the K50 Pro and K50 – the Redmi K40S, a phone that doesn’t stray very far from the K40.
The Redmi K40S ships with a Snapdragon 870 chip with either 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 1080x2400px resolution. The touch sampling rate can reach up to 360Hz when gaming. So far, the K40S is pretty much identical to the K40.
