The former footy star and breakfast radio host has already thinned down by 10kg after a month ago taking up Strong, a combination of pilates and rowing.“I’m getting too old now to blow out,’’ said Fevola, 41.“I can’t keep up with the kids, especially (youngest) Tobi who is three. “The reformer pilates combined with the rowing is great. I don’t mind the rowing but pilates I’m hopeless at. My flexibility has got so much better … the best thing about Strong is incorporating both and it’s a good sweat session. It’s been a great challenge and a great adventure so far.”Fevola, co-host of FOX FM breakfast, says he’s noticed how much happier he feels eating better and exercising.Michael Ramsey, founder and director of Strong, said: “We brought Fev on officially as a Strong ambassador as we’re seeing such a huge demand of men in pilates across our studios, particularly those who still want to train with intensity without the risk of injury. “A retired athlete such as Fev is a great example of someone who’s come from a training background, but due to injuries, and wear and tear over time, can’t continue to do high-impact, high-volume training.“Personally I’ve been hearing from some of the Fox breakfast crew that Fev is genuinely happier at work and in a great mindset. He’s been such a great asset to Strong so far and we can’t wait to see what else he can achieve throughout the year.”Strong has 12 operational studios and 75 confirmed upcoming locations across Australia and New Zealand.
