SAVE $20: The Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds are on sale for $179.95 at Walmart and Amazon as of May 6. The buds are better than AirPods in every way but one — the price — so this deal practically kicks them to the curb.
From AirPods to Beats, Apple pretty much owns the market when it comes to wireless earbuds. But as Mashable tech reporter Alex Perry discovered, only one pair of buds reigns supreme (although Tim Cook gets paid either way), and that’s the Beats Fit Pro. Released in November 2021, the Beats Fit Pro are perhaps the best earbuds in Apple’s portfolio, but their downfall is a steep price tag.
As of May 6, however, you can slash $20 off the usual $199.95 cost and get yourself a pair for $179.95 at Walmart or Amazon. Although that’s just a 10% price drop, that basically evens the playing field in terms of cost between the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods (third-gen) — making the decision practically a no-brainer.
The Beats Fit Pro come in four color variations — black, white, sage gray, and stone purple — all of which are on sale. Notable features include excellent active noise cancellation, silicone ear tips that offer a physical seal to keep noise out even without ANC turned on, long-lasting battery life (six hours with ANC turned on), impressive comfort and fit, and rich audio output. As Perry noted in his review, they are lacking the wireless charging capability of AirPods, but they make up for it elsewhere. They also don’t offer quite as many features for Android owners, but still provide a solid listening experience on either side of the fence.
If you’re looking to spend under $200 on a pair of wireless earbuds, this deal on the Beats Fit Pro is going to be hard to beats (sorry).
