Now Jemma Donovan, Jason’s daughter, is planning to follow in her family footsteps with her stint on Neighbours hopefully being a launching pad for a music career.The show might have finished production but Ramsay Street’s ability to springboard its cast into bigger opportunities overseas looks like it will continue.Jemma, 21, played Harlow Robinson on Neighbours for three years and recently relocated from Melbourne to her family home in London.“Singing is definitely one of my favourite things to do as well as acting,” Jemma said.“It is definitely in my next step, 100 per cent. “I am trying to sort some things out at the moment.” She said had grown up with a love of music thanks to her father’s pop and stage musical career and hoped to release her own songs at some point.“Maybe, hopefully, I mean fingers crossed, I would love to,” she said.“I love music, I just love music, so hopefully I will go into that realm at some point.”The Donovans created a unique family dynasty on Neighbours with Terence Donovan, his son Jason Donovan, and finally Jason’s daughter Jemma having significant roles on the show.
