Screenshots of what appears to be MIUI 14 have hit the web, revealing some of the upcoming changes. It goes without saying that this is based on Android 13. Here is what development version 22.7.19 looks like (Xiaomi uses date-based versions, so this is as fresh as it gets).
The Gallery app gains a text recognition feature, allowing you to quickly copy text from documents you have snapped. Also, there is an “On this day” feature, which will surface old photos shot on a given day years ago.
