Assistant Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Tricia McLaughlin delivered an epic schooling of a far-left ABC News hack on Tuesday after he tried to cover for the infamous illegal alien recently deported to El Salvador.
As TGP readers know, the Trump administration recently sent Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who illegally entered America in 2011, back to his home country. The administration cited two court rulings that found that he was an MS-13 gang member. This made him a designated foreign terrorist and an El Salvadoran citizen who was in the United States illegally.
The Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to ‘facilitate‘ the return of Abrego Garcia. This ruling came after an Obama judge demanded the administration to not just “facilitate” but also “effectuate” the man’s return.
Abrego Garcia remains in El Salvador despite the Supreme Court ruling, however, because the country’s president, Nayib Bukele, has ruled out shipping him back to America.
Jay O’Brien invited McLaughlin to discuss the case on ABC News Live and challenged her to defend the administration’s decision to deport Abrego Garcia. She quickly pointed out a glaring lie by the press: they have been calling the illegal a ‘Maryland man’ even though he broke the law to enter America.
She then triggered O’Brien after correctly calling Abrego Garcia a member of MS-13.
“What really matters to Americans is that this MS-13 gang member, who you and your colleagues have called a ‘Maryland man…’” she began before O’Brien rudely interrupted her.
“I’m gonna stop you there,” he replied. “What is your evidence that he is in MS-13?”
“There’s been two separate immigration judges who have confirmed and ruled that he is a member of MS-13,” McLaughlin answered.
“They (the judges) didn’t rule that; it was brought up…” O’Brien interrupted.
McLaughlin then turned the tables on the hack and shut him down with a masterful response.
“They sure did, Jay,” McLaughlin fired back. “And they dismissed his appeal, Jay!”
“I can do this all day, Jay!” she added. “He is a member of MS-13; I don’t think you’d want to be his neighbor, Jay.”
No sane person would.

McLaughlin continued to school O’Brien by adding further details regarding Abrego Garcia.
“He has been involved in human trafficking, labor trafficking…He should not be in this country,” McLaughlin pointed out. “So, whether he is in an El Salvadorian jail or a U.S. detention facility, I am so glad, as are millions of Americans, that he is off the U.S. streets.”
“Remember, Jay, who is MS-13? They maim, they r*pe, they kill Americans for sport, and the American people are done with it!” she added.
