As Arizona voters remember the rigged 2022 election, stolen by the corrupt Democrats and Trump-hating RINO Maricopa County officials, new details have emerged showing that Maricopa County officials were put on notice about potential tabulator issues but did nothing.
As The Gateway Pundit readers know, the polls opened at 7 am on November 8, 2022, and 60% of voting machines in Maricopa County, where roughly 60% of the state’s voters reside, began rejecting in-person votes. This created four-hour wait times and disenfranchised the majority-Republican in-person voters at most of the voting locations across the county of more than 2.4 million voters.
Republican voters were told to place their ballots into a suspicious bin and trust that the ballot would be transported off-site to be counted by someone, but they had no idea what would really happen. It was chaos.
WATCH:
Roughly 17,000 ballots were reportedly dumped into a separate box to be counted later, but that number seems low when compared to how widespread the issue was. After election day and Maricopa County’s infamous weeks-long counting process, Trump-Endorsed gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake had her election stolen by roughly 17,000 votes, and Trump-Endorsed Attorney General candidate Abe Hamadeh’s election was stolen by only 280 votes!
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the evidence of illegalities presented in Maricopa County’s 2022 election. Video evidence shows that machine failures affecting tens if not hundreds of thousands of voters on election day were likely caused by intentional misconduct. Incorrect machine settings, printer settings, and ballot paper sizes utilized by Maricopa County caused machines at 60% of voting locations to fail on the day that Republicans turned out 3:1 to vote for Kari Lake and Republican candidates.
Maricopa County engaged in illegal machine testing after reprogramming the tabulators prior to election day. This testing was conducted without documentation or logging of tamper-evident seals in violation of the Elections Procedures Manual and the law. It was also conducted after the statutorily required October 11 testing, and the legally required public notice was not given. In video footage from October 14, the reprogrammed ballot tabulators can be seen jamming as employees test them, just as they did on Election Day.
Because of changes made to the voting systems before election day, “at least 8,000 misconfigured ballots were printed at 127 vote centers on Election Day,” and “vote center tabulators logged over 7,000 rejections every 30 minutes from 6:30 am through 8:00 pm.” Maricopa County does not dispute this accurate data, which was derived from their system log files. This information was presented by We The People AZ Alliance in an Arizona Senate hearing in 2023, along with evidence that tabulators rejected ballots nearly 250,000 times.
Then-Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, running for governor, oversaw her own election despite bipartisan calls to recuse herself from election administration duties. Hobbs was statutorily obligated to oversee and conduct additional tests on the illegal testing that Maricopa County conducted on October 14, 2022.
This is why she ran away and dropped an f-bomb at this author when confronted on the issue.
The Gateway Pundit also reported on Kari Lake’s 2023 trial, contesting the state’s signature verification process for mail-in ballots. It was revealed that approximately 274,000 ballot signatures were compared to voter registration records and approved in less than three seconds each. Kari Lake’s attorney, Kurt Olsen, told the Court that “eleven of the signature verification workers approved 170k signatures at a rate of less than 0 and 2.99 seconds with a 99.97% approval rating.” This data is proven by Maricopa County’s own log file data.
When The Gateway Pundit was allowed to inspect and reproduce images of the ballot signatures and compare them to voter registration records, it became extremely clear that Maricopa County did not accurately review or verify signatures.
Now, even more evidence of intentional misconduct or negligence on the part of Maricopa County has come forward.
As revealed by local GOP activist and EZAZ founder Merissa Hamilton, Maricopa County election officials were warned in 2022 that their election had vulnerabilities with ballot paper sizes, printer settings, and ink, but they did nothing. Later, the official narrative from the County during court proceedings was that printer settings caused 60% of machines to fail on election day.
According to emails obtained through a public records request, Former Maricopa County GOP Chairwoman Mickie Niland warned County election officials on October 31, 2022, “I’m feeling worried about sufficient paper and sufficient ink on election day,” noting issues during the primary election months prior and asking “are you ready?”
On November 1, exactly one week before the election, County Elections Director Scott Jarrett assured Niland, ‘We’ve been monitoring turnout and are prepared. We have plenty of ballot paper and normal 8 x 11-inch paper to print control slips. We also have sufficient toner and printer drums.”
However, this was not the case, as Maricopa County later blamed paper, toner, and printer malfunctions for the chaos on election day.
“Maricopa County knew in advance their Election Day plan was set up for failure, and THEY LET IT FAIL!” Hamilton said on X. Elon Musk amplified her post by commenting exclamation marks, expressing his surprise.

Former Trump-Endorsed 2022 Arizona Attorney General candidate and current U.S. Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) responded to the news, saying he “won’t forget what the corrupt cabal did to the people of Arizona.”
