Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s plane, headed to Munich, Germany, for crucial Ukraine negotiations, turned around mid-Atlantic.

Rubio was heading to the Munich Security Conference when a crack was spotted in the plane’s windshield.

A State Department spokesperson said Rubio’s flight is returning to Joint Base Andrews, where he will board a new aircraft.

Barak Ravid, the Global Affairs Correspondent for Axios, reported that the crack was “not a safety concern.”

Vice President J.D. Vance is already in Munich and is awaiting Rubio’s arrival.

The duo is expected to meet with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss ending the war.
