Trump is victorious in so many fronts, and is toiling hard in those where his objectives still elude him.

President Donald J. Trump is riding high on his successes on foreign policy, the good economic numbers and the approval of his ‘big, beautiful bill’ in Congress.

But not everything is going to his heart’s content.

One such example are his relentless attempts to end the bloodiest war since WW2, between Russia and Ukraine – and prevent WW3 in the process.

Today’s Trump-Putin call didn’t yield any tangible progress, according to the US President.

As we reported earlier, President Trump spoke Thursday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but we now know his reaction: he very honestly said that he ‘didn’t make any progress with him [Putin]’ on the peace process in Ukraine.

New York Post reported:

“’It was a pretty long call. We talked about a lot of things, including Iran’, Trump, 79, told reporters as he departed Washington for an evening rally in Iowa.

‘We also talked about the war with Ukraine, and I’m not happy about that … I didn’t make any progress with him today at all’.”

Trump was also asked about the ‘pause’ in the delivery of military aid to Kiev.

“’Biden emptied out our whole country giving them weapons, and we have to make sure that we have enough for ourselves’, the president argued. ‘We’ve given so many weapons, but we are giving weapons, and we’re working with them and trying to help them’.”
