WhatsApp is launching Writing Help. This is an AI feature that will, as the name implies, help you compose your messages. It will suggest text for you in various styles – professional, funny, or supportive. You can of course either select any suggestion or ignore it.
To use this, when writing a message in any one-on-one or group chat, tap the new pencil icon. Writing Help is built on Private Processing technology, which “allows you to leverage Meta AI to generate a response without Meta or WhatsApp ever reading your message or the suggested re-writes”, the company promises.
