If you’d like to decrease your home’s energy usage, a smart thermostat is a great way to start.
Google’s Nest smart thermostats gather information on your schedule and temperature preferences so you can take a hands-off approach to heating and cooling your home. If you’re rarely on the top floor of your home during the day, for example, it doesn’t make sense to blast the heat up there. That’s the sort of issue the thermostat will help solve — plus, it’ll save you a chunk of money on your energy bill if you play your cards right.
