The state funeral for legendary Australian fashion designer Carla Zampatti will be held at Sydney’s St Mary’s Cathedral next Thursday.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian confirmed the public is invited to attend and the service will be livestreamed.
Ms Zampatti died last week at the age of 78 after suffering complications from a fall at the opera at Mrs Macquarie’s Point.
She received the award of Companion of the Order of Australia 2009 for her service to the fashion industry and as a mentor for women.
