They likely live in a suburban or rural area in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas, and their household makes between $80,000 and $125,000. This customer typically has attended some college or has a high school diploma.
Texas Roadhouse is famous for hand cut steaks, dancing servers, and folksy, Texas-themed decor.
Business is booming at the full service casual chain. Same-store sales are up over 80% over 2020, which was of course low because of COVID-19, but they’re also up 21.3% over 2019 levels. Visits are up too, according to Placer.ai, indicating more customers are visiting the chain and are spending more money. Visits increased in April, May, and June, with no signs of slowing down.
Things are going so well that Texas Roadhouse just signed a deal to franchise 10 locations of its fast casual offshoot, Jaggers, with plans to open a third company-owned location by the end of the year.
