It’s easy to spot the L.A. fashion girl who’s dying to start dressing for fall: She’ll be the one wearing boots with a lightweight dress or skirt, like Ashley Benson just did. Warm California weather hasn’t warranted wearing boots yet, but that won’t stop us from busting out our favorite seasonal shoes—even if we’ll be sweating in them a bit.

Come winter, however, you’ll probably want to style the knee-high boots like Gigi Hadid did last year: with a velvet blazer over a turtleneck sweater.
