Elliott and George crossed paths near popular hotspot the Botanical Hotel two weeks ago.“It’s a personal matter and there’s no comment from Simone,’’ a Foxtel spokesperson told the Herald Sun.It’s believed George was with a female companion when he and Elliott exchanged words. A new addition to the series, Elliott, 42, has made an impact with her style and presence after admitting she’s spared no expense with a glam squad.Elliott has two children from a previous relationship and has spoken so far in the series about being heartbroken by the separation from George.A friend of the former couple said Elliott was trying to pull away and move forward with her life. She recently told Confidential at the Melbourne Cup video that she loved filming the show but was yet to find new love.“I don’t really get approached,’’ she said. “I kind of get the gay vote. I feel like I’ve got this great gay following, which is fantastic. I’m a bit light on, not many takers.”Elliott said she went into the series with the mindset to have fun.“I don’t need to have any drama, I want to have a great time and connect with a whole group of women and I think I did that,’’ she said.“I knew what I was walking into. The camera doesn’t lie, you’re recording the whole time you’re there, even when you go to the bathroom. You’ve got to represent yourself how you are. What you’ll see from me … I don’t need to fake it, I don’t need to talk myself up … what you see is what you get.”The blonde glamour said she had been asked how she handles the drama and how she manages to always up the ante with her outfits.“I’m getting so many people asking me about the fashion,’’ she said.“So many people say, ‘You’ve really dialled up the glamour, we’ve never seen it at that level’.“I wanted to bring Australian labels to the forefront because this is the show that’s seen around the world. Everyone is asking about my hair and my looks: ‘Why do you change your hair so many times?’ I have it in a bob, or really long, but it’s great to mix it up.“Also (I get asked), ‘how do you deal with the bitchiness and cattiness and the comments?’.”Real Housewives of Melbourne is on 8.30pm Sundays on Foxtel.
