He said he woke with mild symptoms on Monday and took a rapid antigen test which returned a positive result.He will now follow public health advice and isolate for the next seven days while working from home.Mr Rockliff released a statement on Monday announcing the news, saying he is feeling well. “Due to being fully vaccinated, including my booster, I am feeling well and will recover while working from home,” he said“I encourage Tasmanians, no matter how mild, to stay home if you’re feeling unwell and get tested. “Please, remember the important Covid safe behaviours – wash your hands and sanitise, and cover coughs and sneezes.”Mr Rockliff met with SES crews on Friday after wild storms and heavy rain throughout the state.He was also at Game 2 of the NBL Grand Final in Hobart on Sunday. Mr Rockliff has been Tasmania’s Premier since early April following Peter Gutwein’s resignation.
