During Tuesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience”, the podcast host called Israel’s military actions in Gaza a “genocide.”
Rogan made his remarks during an interview with his guest, comedian Kurt Metzger, where the pair had a lengthy discussion about the Israel-Hamas war.

Joe Rogan To Israel: ‘Genocide Is Okay As Long As We’re Doing It’
Rogan focused on a recent video shared by whistleblower Edward Snowden and what people are allowed to say.
Mediaite reports, “While discussing Candace Owens recently parting ways with the Daily Wire amid accusations of antisemitism and a feud between Owens and Ben Shapiro, Rogan turned his attention to a leaked video showing an Israeli drone killing four men in Gaza shared by Edward Snowden on X, formerly Twitter.”
“They’re always saying they’re only targeting Hamas, and everybody else is a casualty,” Joe Rogan said of Israel’s government. “Well, if those guys are just unarmed civilians and they’re walking alone — that’s what they appear to be — and you just blast them from the sky with robots…”
The story went on:
Rogan continued, “If you can’t talk about that, if you can’t say that’s real, then you’re saying that genocide is okay as long as we’re doing it. And you’re saying that from the perspective of someone who literally went through the Holocaust or your people, your tribe. You went through the Holocaust and now you’re willing to do it?”
“I hope the irony’s not lost on you!” Metzger added.
“It’s so nuts,” Rogan said, adding, “You guys are willing to do what was done to you that led you to believe that you needed to start your own country?”

Estimates Of 30,000 Killed In Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said military action will continue in Gaza until there are no Hamas members left. The Israeli strikes began after a terrorist attack on October 7 by Hamas, killing over 1,200 along with many hostages taken.
Gaza’s health ministry has said it estimates more than 30,000 people have been killed by Israel’s actions in the area. Their reports must be taken with a grain of salt.
