Per Omdia’s research, the global smartphone market in Q2 of this year was worse off than in Q2 of 2021, and worse still compared to Q1 of 2022. There were a total of 293.7 million smartphones shipped in the months April through June, compared to 307.7 million in Q1, and 303.3 million in Q2 2021.
