Windows 11 features a centered taskbar, unlike its predecessor. With the new OS, you get various customization options for the taskbar, including hiding it. In this tutorial, I will address this and show you how to hide the Windows 11 taskbar. The process is straightforward, and it will hardly take a minute. Just follow the tutorial, and you are good to go.
Hide Windows 11 Taskbar
The taskbar doesn’t take much space on the screen. However, you can reclaim the space and hide the taskbar. Follow the steps below:
Step-1: Right-click on the taskbar (click on the space; don’t click any icon). Select Taskbar Settings.
Step-2: You will be directed to the Personalization settings in the Settings app. Scroll down and click on Taskbar behaviors to expand the option.
Step-3: Check the Automatically hide the taskbar option. As soon as you do, the taskbar will disappear.
Step-4: If you look closely at the bottom of your desktop, you will see a thin line. The taskbar will pop out if you hover your cursor on this line (extreme bottom of your desktop). When you move the cursor away, the taskbar will hide again.
If you wish to unhide the taskbar, follow all the above steps but in Step-3, uncheck the Automatically hide the taskbar option.
