He got a bulls**t f***ing excuse and then fell over his own f***ing lies. It’s just what happens, right, that’s what happened,” Amor said.It seems Kimmel was charmed by the pair’s expletive-laden gaff. “Why isn’t all the news like that? I would watch the news every night,” Kimmel said.Seven is formally investigating the incident, with The Australian reporting that the TV network intends to involve police.Bizarrely, the footage – which went viral on social media – has boosted ratings for the pair. The night after the leak, viewers for Seven’s 6pm bulletin on Wednesday increased by 40,000.Maddern and Amor started co-hosting the news together on January 3, with Maddern returning to the network after a stint with Nine.
