Shane was an incredible human to me and every single person that he came across, and I’ve got such wonderful stories of him,” Sheeran told the crowd.“People that he didn’t even know have wonderful stories of him – he gave so much of his time and energy and love. He was such a great bloke.”Sheeran was one of many stars who performed, along with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Elton John and Robbie Williams. There were also spoken tributes from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Hugh Jackman, James Packer and Greg Norman. After Warne’s sudden death in Thailand, Hurley, 19, took to Instagram to share previously unseen photographs with the spin king during his high-profile engagement to his mother from 2011 to 2013.“SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one the best men I’ve ever known,” he wrote.“My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW’s family.”Warne’s three children are holidaying in the UK.
