After toxicology tests, the Lancaster County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the 19-year-old Our Idiot Brother actor’s death in August to be suicide, TMZ reported Thursday.But as well as the medical examiner’s ruling, Mindler’s mum confirmed to TMZ that her son killed himself during his first days away from home at Millersville University in Pennsylvania.Monica Mindler — who previously revealed that her son suffered from “crippling anxiety” — said she later found a clear but heartbreaking link in her son’s internet search history.The actor was looking up information on how to end his life, said the grieving mum, who had no idea beforehand that her son was planning to kill himself.Mindler was found dead in Manor Township, near his university, on August 28. He had been reported missing four days prior to his body being found.He attended classes at the university on Monday and Tuesday before leaving campus on Tuesday night around 8.11pm, CCTV later found.Monica told TMZ her son had been in constant contact with her since moving away to university but stopped contacting her on Tuesday night.She drove to the campus to join the search on Thursday. His body wasn’t found until the Saturday.Mindler enjoyed a brief acting career as a child star, appearing in eight films and TV shows.
